Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2026

ExposurePal is a recovery companion, not a clinical service. You can use the app without creating an account. If you choose to sign in, ExposurePal can back up and restore selected app data through Supabase so your collection is not limited to one device.

Information you provide or create

Location

ExposurePal asks for location permission to find nearby places and verify when you reach a place during a mission. Location is used for the app experience. We do not sell location data or use it for advertising.

Backup and authentication

Account sign-in is optional. If you sign in, authentication and backup sync are handled by Supabase. ExposurePal may send the app data needed for backup and restore to our Supabase project, including account identifiers and the records required to rebuild your collection on another device.

Third-party services

What we do not do

Data deletion

You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device. If you created an account and want cloud backup data deleted, contact feedback@exposurepal.com from the email associated with your account.

Children

ExposurePal is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the services we operate. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and change the date above.
